The South Fork of the American River is the most popular white water rafting river in the West. It is known for its thrills, wildlife and beautiful scenery.
Friday, September 18th is your one-day river trip guided by our three sponsoring outfitters. Your river trip is a 12 mile class three level float down the famous “gorge”, and includes a very special music performance with Sid Lewis and Jonny Mojo, at your lunch stop deep in the river canyon and a complimentary 5 X 7 picture (THANKS to Hotshot Imaging) of your boat running one of the South Fork's famous rapids.
Everyone departs from Earthtrek and shuttles are provided from/to all campgrounds.
Your outfitter will meet you at 10:00 am at your campground. Don't be late for check-in. Shuttle departure to Earthtrek is 10:30 am. You should be back at your campground by 5:00 P.M. For What to Bring on the river trip click here.
